Arthrolysis for frozen shoulder

Frozen shoulder is an inflammation of the joint lining with subsequent stiffening. In certain cases, arthroscopic mobilization of the shoulder joint ( arthroscopic arthrolysis ) can considerably shorten the spontaneous healing process and improve the function of the shoulder joint. The inflamed mucous membrane in the joint is removed with a bipolar electric probe, the joint is mobilized and the joint capsule is notched.
